Cobra Kai fortnite premiered on Netflix and arrived at Fortnite iconic crane

Cobra Kai Fortnite - Netflix premiered today the fourth season of Cobra Kai and Fortnite did not want to be left out of the corresponding celebrations. Battle royale players can now wear the colors of Miyagi Do, Cobra Kai or Eagle Fang and add new items to their collection before the end of the year.

The collaboration between the popular series and the even more popular video game includes three different item packs: the Karate Ko pack, featuring five female characters; the Dojo Showdown package, with five males; and the Cobra Kai Gear pack, featuring two pickaxes, two backpacking accessories and the iconic crane gesture that includes part of Joe Esposito's “You’re The Best Around” song, straight from the Karate Kid soundtrack.

Each character and object contained in the three packages can be obtained separately and each skin has the uniforms of the three main dojos of the Netflix show, to equip them whenever you prefer.

This crossover between Fortnite and Cobra Kai marks the latest collaboration for this year's Epic Games battle royale, which was loaded with pop culture characters. Currently the game store presents some of the most popular objects, skins and gestures of the year for users to make their last purchases before starting 2022. Additionally, the Christmas event is still available until January 6 and offers 14 gifts to all players entering the title. Items include winter outfits, pickaxes, Christmas weapon wraps, and more.

Many users who have already redeemed all the available gifts continue to receive the notification that there is still one to open, but from the game accounts they clarified that it is an error. Fortnite suffered serious problems on its servers this week and was idle for almost eight hours. From Epic Games they anticipated that they will reward the lost time with a gift for the players, but they have not yet announced how or when.

Fortnite had a very particular 2021 because it continued to increase in popularity, which made it the most played title on PlayStation 5 in its first year of activity, but at the same time it lost a large portion of its audience as a result of the trial with Apple. The title plans for 2022 are unknown beyond, surely, many more collaborations, but a few months ago it was rumored that the studio was looking to expand its portfolio with audiovisual productions and a possible battle royale movie.
