How to get feathers in Fortnite - Feathers are new collectible items added to the base game in Fortnite Update V.19.20. The newly added item allows you to craft/unlock various Haven Mask outfits in the in-game store. In order to get some feathers in Fortnite, you will need to enter any game mode and open the chests of your choice, as they generally tend to spawn at a higher rate within said chest.

Do you need to equip the Haven Skin Battle Pass to collect feathers?

Contrary to popular opinion, you do not need to equip the Chapter 3 Season 1 Battle Pass “Shelter” skin to collect feathers. However, you will need the skin to unlock the various Haven skins and their quest.

Locating Feather in Fortnite

As mentioned above, there are no fixed locations to find feathers as they spawn inside chest crates. So the best way to collect some feathers in Fortnite is to jump into any game and drop at landmarks with some good loot like Covert Cavern, Tilted Towers, covert canyon fortnite, Condo Canyon, and Greasy Groove.

After landing at the prescribed waypoints, look for any chests in the surrounding area. Open a couple of chests and you will find some feathers very soon. You can easily locate a loot chest using the bell/buzz sound. Also, you can check the number of feathers you have collected in the inventory in the currency section.
