Although, as of Chapter 3 of Season 3, Fortnite Darth Vader has entered the fray, and you can defeat him to collect the iconic red lightsaber from him. It would be a lot of effort to get it just to complete a few challenges, but it is very effective against enemy players.

How to Dislodge or Destroy Runaway Boulders with a Melee Weapon 

Now that you know what constitutes a Fortnite melee weapon, you can easily complete the week 3 quest challenge. All you need to do is hit the pile of rocks under three Runaway Boulders with your harvesting tool to dislodge the rocks and complete the challenge.
