How to get dragon hearts in Elden Ring

To get a Dragon Heart, all you need to do is kill a dragon. This is certainly much easier said than done. But if you just stay on your horse and learn its attack patterns, then you should be able to kill a dragon even fairly early in the game.

The first one you'll probably come across is Flying Dragon Agheel. As its name suggests, the dragon can fly and can be found while exploring Lake Agheel. Around the middle of the lake, you will find a group of enemies. As you get closer to these weaklings, the dragon will come flying and kill them all. Don't get too close or you will be caught in Agheel's flames and suffer the same fate as the enemies.

The Church of the Communion of the Dragon is located on a small island off the western coast of Limgrave. Obviously you can't cross the water, so you'll have to enter a cave on the coast. In this cave, you will encounter a boss battle. Don't use the quick return to the entrance after defeating this boss.

Continue through the cave using the opening opposite the side you entered the boss arena. When you come out the other side of the cave, you will be on the island that has the Dragon Communion Church. When you enter the church, you will find a giant statue of a dragon with an altar that has an eternally burning flame. Go up to the altar and offer your Dragon Heart to learn a new enchantment.
