How to get a pet in Diablo 4

The best thing about pets is that they act as a complement, and they are also ignored by enemies, although they cannot attack them either.

It is quite easy to get a pet and you just have to update the game to the latest version. Once you have updated the game, you will receive an automatic quest and it is located in the western section of Kyovashad.Don't worry, you will have a marker on the map, and you will basically find yourself in front of your first pet: a dog.

When you interact with it, it will become your friend and will be added to your inventory, completing the quest.  You can then access the inventory to go to the new pet section, and here you can equip it.

Once you have the pet active, it will collect all the loot for you and other materials, even going for some item that you don't see on screen, but that is nearby. However, when you are on horseback, the pet will disappear and will not collect any items.  On the other hand, pets cannot open chests or containers, but once the player opens them, they will be able to collect the loot for you.

This is the free pet that all players who update to the latest version of Diablo 4 can get, but there are a few more.
